back to the Black Table
The Black Table is getting pretentious on you, so watch out.

The Black Table, which ordinarily caters to the illiterate and the mad, is proud to announce The Black Table Reading Series, a two-week fiasco of readerly goodness. Hosted by Black Table managing editor Will Leitch, the two readings feature some of the country's best young writers, doing their thing on the video screen, break it down, come on Hammer.

The readings are on Tuesday, February 24 and a week later on Tuesday, March 2 at 7 p.m. at Barbes in Brooklyn. Here's the lineup:

February 24 @ 7 p.m.: CHUCK KLOSTERMAN (Esquire columnist, SPIN senior writer and author of two books, including the new Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs), BEN GREENMAN (New Yorker editor and author of Superbad) and AMANDA STERN (author of The Long Haul and one of the more talented reader/performers you'll find).

March 2 @ 7 p.m.: The Black Table extravaganza, with ERIC GILLIN (editor-in-chief), A.J. DAULERIO (managing editor), AMY BLAIR ("Week In Craig") and other Black Table luminaries lighting up your evening.
